Sign File Requirements

.pdf / .eps / .jpg

All sign files to be supplied in CMYK, not RGB.

Sign files to be scaled at 100% or clearly indicated if not.

Appropriate bleed and crop marks must be added.

Resolution

Sign files to be supplied as vector or at 300dpi minimum.

Images to be supplied at 300dpi minimum.

Colour Matching

If colour matching for your sign is required please provide:

– a Pantone colour value or,

– a physical colour sample

Colour matching will not be undertaken unless requested.

Hard colour proofs are available at an additional cost.

Signage Font/Text

All sign fonts must be converted to outlines (paths/curves) or fonts must be supplied.

All text for sign layouts must be supplied as an MS Word document or editable .pdf, anything hand written will not be accepted.

Any text in any language other than English must be provided as an MS Word document, editable .pdf or vector file otherwise an additional cost will be incurred.

Sign File Transfer

Email for files up to 10MB. Larger signage files can be sent as CD / DVD / USB or transferred via a free file sending service such as WeTransfer.com.

Terms

Note: If sign files are supplied by the client we can take no responsibility for errors within.

This includes incorrect fonts, spelling errors from provided text documents, low resolution images and incorrect colour matching if no colour matching information has been provided.

Clients will be responsible for all costs associated with reprinting / manufacture from sign files supplied as incorrect.

Signpac matches colour on our signs with great care but for certain Pantone colours a perfect match is not always achievable, however we strive to give you the best colour match possible for your signs.
